South Coast & Country Community Law is a not–for–profit community legal centre in the following local government areas – Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Queanbeyan-Palerang and Snowy Monaro.

Our mission is to provide an accessible professional legal service, responsive to the needs of the most disadvantaged and which promotes just and lasting solutions to legal and social issues in our community.

We give free and confidential legal advice over the phone and face to face. We give regular face to face appointments at our regular outreach locations.

WDVCAS provides women and their children with information, advocacy and safety planning where appropriate. They provide referrals to services including housing, counselling, financial assistance or health services. WDVCAS aims to provide women with:

improved access to and understanding of the ADVO and criminal justice process
effective legal protection through an ADVO
appropriate ADVOs designed to fit their specific needs
effective and appropriate legal representation
access to a support system that can assist them with their other legal and social welfare needs
improved experience of the justice system, for example, being able to obtain an appropriate final order as quickly and efficiently as possible.
